The princess' love was like a stable carbon-12 atom. With six protons and neutrons in the nucleus, the outer electron shells contained 6 electrons. 6 was her favorite number. In the first electron shell, there were 2 electrons, while the valence electrons in the outer field were 4. The princess liked the number 6, because it was the addition of two 3's. When you put two 3's together, you also get an infinity symbol, better known as the number 8.

Her love was meant to be shared, folks were supposed to come to her outer and even her inner electron cloud. It didn't matter what they tried to do to her electrons, her nucleus could not be changed. She could not connect with all atoms via their electron clouds, but everything is already balanced and stable anyway. Though she could share her electrons freely and without any damage to her inner nucleus, there was another atom drawing her close. Love was the workings of the electron clouds, and despite the chaotic sea, love was always stabilizing.

Love had been recently pulling them closer and closer, as if their nuclei were emitting signals to each other to aid this process and communicate to each other that they were almost there. They had found each other, had almost touched, and now although they were calm at the core of their atoms, the electrons and everything around them were working around the clock to stabilize the princess and place her where she needed to be. The princess noticed how at ease others were put when love worked to help everyone on their journey to stability. They understood that because love was helping the princess, it was by default helping everyone else too. She was an atom that could not be split, but was all part of a connected existence nonetheless.

She let the electrons do their thing while she simply enjoyed the ride. The bonding force was becoming stronger and stronger, and she just gave in. An atom can't beat a gigantic magnet, it'll control an atom's poles regardless. Being dragged through space and just enjoying the journey, the princess would laugh and smile and enjoyed the experience of a lifetime. The adventure of a carbon atom.
